I’m sitting at my 24″ HD iMac … n.i.c.e. – in my home office. I have loved every Mac I’ve ever owned. My brother got me to switch in 1992 when he bought a Mac Classic (if I recall correctly) for the office at Jo’s Bar in Prague. I learned using a Czech O/S so “new folder” was “novy ploshky” or something like that. The keyboard switches the X and the Y so for years I made mistakes while typing on a Canadian/US keyboard. My first Mac was the LC 475. Then I got a G3-333 laptop that is still working great! It is at my Mom’s collecting dust as she is intimidated by it. Lorin uses my hand-me-down iMac – the one with a chrome neck. It is only used for running iTunes.
I’m living with Lorin and our spoiled overweight dog Bella in Coquitlam, BC, Canada, south-facing on a hillside. It gets hot in here in the summer but my office is at the back of the house so I’m always comfy in here. I can see my garden from my office window and spend a bit of time weeding to get a break from sitting at my desk. Lorin’s office is downstairs so he gets cold in the winter and has to run the heater while he hugs-a-mugga.
We visit Pinantan Lake in the summer with our camper. It is very beautiful there so I started a web portal to promote the wonderful community.
